Jon Zawistowski, PhD

Senior Director of R&D / Scientific Advisory Board

Originally from Colorado, Jon received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He completed his doctoral work in the Department of Genetics at Duke University Medical Center and his postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Prior to entering the biotechnology sector, Jon was a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine with an emphasis on epigenetic adaptation to targeted therapies in breast cancer.

Outside of the lab he enjoys beach and mountain getaways with his wife and two daughters, playing guitar, and commercial aviation trivia.
